Nikah: a new chapter of life

In February 2024 my nikah took place, and a new chapter of my life began. The nikah was performed by my respected teacher, Qazi Allama Hafiz Muhammad Bilal Durrani, whom I have always called “Ustad Ji”.

The ceremony was blessed by the special presence and patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. I am grateful to Mr. Masood Usmani, President of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran Karachi, and the other office-bearers whose efforts made Dr. Hassan Qadri’s presence possible, and especially to Asif PP Bhai, at whose home this blessed nikah took place.

It had long been my dream and wish that my nikah would take place in the presence of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He is abroad, devoted to serving the faith by writing books, an intellectual treasure that matters greatly for this generation and the centuries to come. I am deeply thankful that this blessed ceremony took place in the presence of his son, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, a guide for young people.

And so my life entered a new phase.
