March 2025 · Binaye Ummat Seminar, Arts Council Karachi
The program
Minhaj-ul-Quran held the Binaye Ummat Seminar at Arts Council Karachi in March 2025 to mark the birthday of its founder, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Scholars, community leaders and many young workers of the movement filled the hall to reflect on his message of education, peace and social justice.
Husn-e-Karkardagi 2025 — Best Performance Award
During the program, Minhaj Youth League honored Sarim Noor with its Best Performance Award (Husn-e-Karkardagi 2025). The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, together with Rana Waheed Shahzad, Central President of Minhaj Youth League Pakistan. Imad-ud-Din, Secretary General of MYL Karachi, was also present.
Why this award
The award recognized steady, volunteer work for the youth wing: bringing young people into constructive activity, helping organize programs, and using social media and video to carry educational and social-awareness messages — work Sarim has been doing since he joined the movement in 2014.
Part of a longer journey
It followed earlier recognitions from the youth league — the Nishan-e-Wafa (Most Active Worker) award from MYL Karachi in 2017 and the Best Youth Leadership Award from Minhaj Youth League Pakistan in 2018 — and came a year before Sarim took on the role of President of Minhaj Youth League Karachi in 2026.
